Listen

The city is alive in the fall. Colours and light in a hypnotizing dance. The sun sets every day, and every day it's equally beautiful. So far the rains have not really hit Cork.

They build buildings. Somewhere in there is the Opera House, and Paul street shopping centre (or, as it's commonly known, Tesco).

No river! View from the crossing St. Patrick's hill and MacCurtain street, over St. Patrick's bridge and St. Patrick's Street. (This is not a joke.)

The light has been this beautiful every evening when I leave work.

This is taken from just outside work, Ship Street.

Big sky

First out today is the Shag, again. Ready for takeoff.

The city is getting sleepy in the late afternoon. It turns blue, calm, still.

Another sunset from the bridge at the bottom of Grand Parade. The Cathedral, the brewery and their reflections.

The brewery up close.

And a picture without river. Only the big sky as seen from Barrack Street.

Set the sun

Me, Olof and Maria had been to Mahon Point, and on our way home, as we were crossing the bridge at the bottom of Grand Parade, we encountered this spectacular sunset view. Lots of people had the same idea as me and where standing there taking photos. =) In the background is Saint Finnbarr's Cathedral and the Beamish brewery.
